📌 Create a blog/article/video about cyber crime cases where they talk about confusion matrix or its two types of error.
🔰 What is Cyber Crime ?
Cyber crimes are any crimes that involve a computer and a network. In some cases, the computer may have been used in order to commit the crime, and in other cases, the computer may have been the target of the crime. In cyber crime the hacker developes a program (computer virus) in such way that this program may steal the information from other computer also it can destroy the data of other computer or it may do some illegal activities.
🔰 What is Confusion Matrix and Types of Error?
Confusion matrix basically used in solving the classification problems. confusion matrix is in the tabular format which gives the summary of correct or incorrect predictions. To calculate the performance of classification model the confusion matrix is used which can evaluate the score of performance by calculating accuracy , precision , recall , F1-score.
In confusion matrix there are 4 terms which helps us to determine the confusion metrics.
Accuracy : Accuracy measures the correct prediction made by the classifier. It is the ratio between number of correct prediction and Total number of predictions.
Precision : Precision is the ratio of correctly classified or predicted positive classes to the total number of positive classes.
Recall : Recall is same as precision but it is used when false negative trumps false positive
F1-Call : When we didi’nt get the clearance between recall and precision that which is more important at that time F1-call combines both and in a single value.
🔰 Crime Cases and Confusion Matrix
The Internet becomes a part of the day to day activities and that’s why cybercrime is also on the rise. Currently, cybercrime is being used with diverse terminologies such as computer crime, e-crime, Internet crime, etc. Cybercrime will cost nearly $6 trillion per annum by 2021 as per the cybersecurity ventures report in 2020.
In September 2018 , the bug is found in facebook’s video upload software, and from this bug hackers hacked the user names, gender, email addresses, location check ins, and relationship statuses.
🔰 To protect ourself from cyber attack we should know the 3 key cybercrime statistics.
🔰 Conclusion :
Evaluating cybercrime attacks and providing protective measures by manual methods using existing technical approaches and also investigations has often failed to control cybercrime attacks. so there to overcome this problem we can proposes a flexible computational tool or a model using machine learning techniques to analyze cybercrimes rate at a state wise in a country that helps to classify cybercrime.
